We are situated on the Great South Road overlooking the Mighty Waikato river ( NZ longest River and opposite the Genesis Huntly Power Station (New Zealand Larges Power Station.

Situated on either side of theWaikatoRiver, approximately 93km south of Auckland and 32km north of Hamilton. The town is linked by the Tainui and Rail bridges.

Huntly is home to one of the largest power stations inNew Zealand. Genesis Energy generates power using coal and gas on the Huntly West site. It includes the northern part of the Waikato Coalfields and there are underground and open cast mines still operating in the area.
 
Huntly is also home of the Huntly Speedway with Hampton Downs Speedway further north.
